Christmas in July

Two christmas' ago I wanted to add something special to my co-workers gifts.

 CC and I both use what we call our house seaosning A LOT. We use different measurements but the same 3 ingredients. I mixed the 3 ingredients together in a bowl you may want to wear a bandana over your nose and mouth I got very watery eyes and felt as if I was having an allergy attack but it was totally worth the allergy attack, my co-workers LOVED it.

1/4 c. Pure ground pepper
1/4 c. Sea Salt
1/2 c. Garlic Powder
Mix together. My seaoning at home I have in a small container with a lid but for the gifts I purchased glass containers at World Market, 4pk/3.99. Added some curling ribbon and gift.

Stuffed Zucchini

Dinner last night with the bestie, she made the most delicious southwest stuffed zucchini. Check out her post here! This time she went sans olives and added zucchini into the mix.

6 Pasta Salad

"6" Ingredients!

1. 1 lb Farfalle (bow tie shaped) pasta

2. 15 to 20 medium sized basil leaves, chiffonade , or chiffonade.

3. 5 to 6 small/medium tomatoes, diced

4. 3/4 c.  Parmesan cheese, shredded

5. 3 Tbs. minced garlic ( I sometimes add more)

6. 1/2 c. Olive Oil

Bring a pot of water to boil. Add pasta cook until al dente about 7 to 8 minutes.

Drain pasta, add all ingredients, mix together.

Chill for at least 3 hours. Salt & Pepper to taste.

Speculoos Cookie Butter

May be the most addicting thing at Trader Joe's! The consistency is very close to peanut butter however taste like 1,000 little gingerbread men dunked into honey and smooshed up, does that make sense? I found myself dipping Marshmallows into it, I also had it with green apples. Not something I would buy all the time but very good for a special treat.

Bridesmaids Movie style photo

So I've been seing a lot of wedding photos of bridemaids that are reminiscent of the cover of the movie Bridesmaids. I think it's hilarious and love the idea, I was in a wedding over Memorial Day and the photgrapher had us act mad/over it... I didn't put 2 and 2 together until I saw the photo, I love it!
